What: The annual Rise Soccer Club (formerly Houston Express) Power Cup tournament is the perfect tournament for all U8-U15 teams looking for a spring season warm-up tournament. With outstanding fields and great competition, make sure your team participates this year!
We have had over 250 teams over the past few years, and accept up to 4 flights of teams in each boys and girls age groups from U8-U15.
When: February 2-4, 2018
Only select games (between Houston based teams), if any, will be played Friday night.
Who: Boys/Girls U8-U15 – Academy/Rec Plus and Competitive Teams
U8 (Birth Year 2010) – Will have their own bracket(s) in U9 (and play 7v7)
U9 (Birth Year 2009) – 7v7
U10 (Birth Year 2008) – 7v7
U11 (Birth Year 2007) – 9v9
U12 (Birth Year 2006) – 9v9 or 11v11 (will have own bracket in U13 if enough teams)
U13 (Birth Year 2005) – 11v11
U14 (Birth Year 2004) – 11v11
U15 (Birth Year 2003) – 11v11
Cost: $475 for 7v7, $550 for 9v9 and $600 for 11v11

For 2018, we expect to have over 250 teams from all over Texas and surrounding states for U8-U15 boys and girls, with very competitive brackets in all age groups.

Games will be played on some of the best fields in Houston, most of which are maintained and operated by Rise Soccer Club. Rise Soccer Club plants winter grass on many of the fields, so the fields are smooth and green and in the best possible condition for competitive play.

General Tournament Information
All check-in will be electronic this year again.
Rosters need to be finalized in GotSoccer by Wednesday night before the start of the tournament.
Coaches or a team representative are required to check-in their teams by electronic check-in:

Required team documentation includes:
- All participating players should be on the team’s roster in GotSoccer along with their jersey numbers.
- Final Player Roster with numbers (signed by club registrar). Players not participating in the
tournament should be crossed off the roster. Guest players must be noted as such and can be hand written on the roster.
- Player Cards (laminated, with picture)
- Adult Participation Passes for all adults that will be on the player sidelines (STYSA teams)
- Travel Permit (for USYSA teams outside of South Texas)
- Medical Release forms (signed by parent / guardian) must be carried by the team manager / coach for all games, but will not be required for check-in
Rise Soccer Club has partnered with RoomRoster for the Reliant Power Cup 2018. RoomRoster is the world’s first comprehensive tournament and team accommodation management solution, and has pre-selected Official Tournament Hotels for this tournament in order to provide teams with the best options on value, location and amenities. Please note that staying in a RoomRoster Tournament Official Hotel is a condition of acceptance for teams requiring overnight accommodation. After tournament registration, an account is created for each team in the RoomRoster Event Support System. The team rep is emailed their team rep account login link to begin the hotel booking process. When the team rep selects the team hotel, a unique team member link is created and emailed to the team rep to forward to each team member to create their own reservation within the block.
