Player Environment
RISE SC’s unique, player-centric curriculum reflects our philosophy of providing soccer for every player. We seek to instill a love for the game and in an environment where each player is encouraged to participate according to his or her interest and ability. We take great pride in developing our players as athletes, students and responsible young men and women.
Facilities
& Training
RISE SC owns / manages some of the finest youth soccer facilities in the country. Our main campuses in South-Central Houston (West University Place, River Oaks, Bellaire, and Braeswood Place) along with Sienna Plantation / Sugar Land / Missouri City – allow us to offer excellence in programming at geographically-sensible locations to the more than 1.1 million people living within a six mile-radius of our facilities.

Style of Play
Our boys and girls teams across all age groups follow a consistent style of play. Offensively, we play a controlled, ball possession game that encourages creativity, flair and confidence with the ball. Defensively, we emphasize one-on-one defending and group defending tactics to pressure opponents into giving up the ball. We encourage players to defend all areas of the field.
RISE SC teams must feel comfortable playing the ball from the back through the midfield and from there to the final third of the field. RISE SC coaches use a teaching method of guided discovery to promote individual player development within the team.
RISE SC players are constantly encouraged to make their own decisions and express their individual creativity in both training and game environments.

Coaching Leadership
Coaches are the key to player development. RISE SC boasts one of the most highly licensed coaching staffs in the nation.

Player success depends on player environment, proper coaching and club support. Since 1999, we have helped over 225 student athletes advance to the collegiate level at universities such as Wake Forest, Notre Dame, Carnegie Mellon, Colorado School of Mines, Dartmouth, LSU, Babson College, University of Pennsylvania, Dartmouth, Rhodes, Washington and Lee, Sewanee, Harvard, MIT, Columbia, U.S. Air Force Academy, Vanderbilt, Colgate and nearly every university in the State of Texas.
Along the way, a few players have represented their countries on youth and full National Teams or played at the professional level. You could be next!
