RISE College ID Camp: Over 40 Colleges and Universities had a first-hand look at the RISC SC high school-aged talent pool in a combine style event. U.S. Soccer Development Academy teams
U12 Boys
It’s been a positive start for the DA U12 Boys Program. The boys are showing good discipline, team defending, team spirit, and some very excellent combination play. Notable games were the great comeback against Dynamo Youth Academy. After being down 4-1 with 13 minutes to play, our boys rallied all the way back to win the game 5-4! Last week the boys put together a great game in a 2-0 win against the Houston Dynamo Academy. We are happy with the way the boys are competing.
U13 Girls Pilot
The girls are really coming together and playing at a consistently high level. The group has demonstrated a strong willingness to compete and are starting to get the results their performances deserve. We played the clubs with professional affiliations, Houston Dash and FC Dallas to draws. The group just returned from Denver where they beat Colorado Rush 2-0. There are 4 girls from this group that are attending the U.S. Soccer Training Centers.
Houston Youth Cup:
RISE SC dominated the event hosted by Dynamo/Dash with 6 Champions and 8 Finalists. It was a terrific kickoff event for our competitive teams.
