Biography:

As a former English Premier League soccer player, I played for Manchester City, Oldham Athletic, Aston Villa, Everton, Sheffield Wednesday and was selected 11 times for the England National Team. I was a professional for 16 memorable years, where I contributed to helping my teams achieve numerous milestones. With Oldham Athletic, I was part of the team that won promotion to the Premier League. When I was with Aston Villa we beat Manchester United 3-1 to win the League Cup and while with Everton, we captured the Community Shield, by beating Blackburn Rovers 1-0. After injury and retirement, I obtained a Sports Science Degree and continued to obtain other coaching related qualifications. I spent 7 years at Stoke City coaching up to U21 level, until joining RISE in October 2016. My ambition is to help players compete at their highest level while enjoying their soccer experience, education, and their own development.
