I coached NCAA Division I women’s soccer at the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) for 21 years, including 18 years as a head coach. Over the course of my career, I graduated every student-athlete who exhausted their eligibility, compiled an overall record of 211-127-27 and was named both WAC Conference, and Central Regional Coach of the Year. In 2018 I was listed as the 40th winningest NCAA Division I women’s coach. I had 15 consecutive winning seasons in a row as a head coach. In 2005 the UTEP team defeated the Texas Longhorns to advance to the second round of the NCAA tournament, concluding the season with a 20-4-1 record. I am one of only five coaches in UTEP athletic department history to have won more than 200 games, and my winning percentage of 60 percent is second only to Hall of Fame basketball coach Don Haskins. I have a Masters of Business Administration from Texas A&M University and played for their men’s club team.
